Brief History |
On February 14, 1978, The People Place was born. It later became known as MetroArts, and continued to use that name for over twenty years until 2000 when the name changed to Jump Street. Jump Street continued the inherited core mission of enriching our regional community by developing artists, audiences, and arts organizations. Jump Street added to that an exciting grassroots component of workforce development, entrepreneurial skill building, and personal development using the arts. |
