General Donation

All donations help to further Jump Street’s mission to connect artists to the community for social, educational, and economic development.

Ways to donate to Jump Street:

  • Financially – funds go to support programming.
  • Art Supplies – for youth and adult programming.
  • Musical Instruments – through Gift of Music, instruments will be given to students in need.
  • Computer equipment – for use in programs including workforce development
  • Tools – gardening tools and power tools can be used in programs, including community based initiatives

Any contribution you can make benefits youth, adult and community arts based programming throughout Central Pennsylvania.

The Gift of Music

Jump Street created the Gift of Music program to combat the lack of resources available to schools and organizations to be able to provide music training to their students. Even with the resources available, many students cannot afford the cost of buying or renting an instrument to participate. This is where the Gift of Music comes in.

Since 2001, Gift of Music has collected and distributed hundreds of instruments in the Capital Region. Additionally, Jump Street has incubated the Gift of Music in three other cities: Philadelphia, Allentown and Lancaster. In all, the four sites have supplied thousands of instruments to youth throughout Pennsylvania.
