Internship Program

By providing area high school and postsecondary students with internships, Jump Street aims to enhance educational backgrounds of students by providing opportunities for career exploration and development of specific industry skills while encouraging personal development.

Internship opportunities to gain career related experience can vary in many ways at Jump Street:

• • • • • involve a supervision component that is mentoring and educational
        • includes career related experiences that complement what is learned in the classroom
        • may be paid (very limited) or unpaid
        • are available for academic credit
        • can be from 5 hours a week to 40 hours a week
        • can take place during the summer or during the school year
        • can last for one quarter, part of one quarter, or extend overal several quarters
