Melissa Snyder began her tenure with Jump Street as an office & Derby Day volunteer and was hired in 2007 as Jump Street’s Program Administrator where she was responsible for The Gift of Music, and™ magazine, and the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts program. In August 2014, Ms. Snyder became Jump Street’s Interim Executive Director. Ms. Snyder is Jump Street’s key management leader and is responsible for the overall strategic and operational administration of the organization while dutifully executing the mission of the Jump Street. Ms. Snyder has been in the arts services industry for over 8 years and still personally administers Jump Street’s Gift of Music program and The Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Program. Ms. Snyder is a consultant for the PA Council on the Arts’ Preserving Diverse Cultures program and has completed the Fundraising for Professionals Certification and the Non Profit Management Certification Program through Millersville University.
Amy Beaver, Associate Director
Amy Beaver has been Jump Street’s Associate Director since July of 2017. She has 14 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles at both corporate and nonprofit organizations, specializing in marketing, fundraising, advocacy and community engagement. Amy is responsible for implementing artist residency programs in Cumberland, Dauphin and Schuylkill counties through the Arts in Education Partnership with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA, where she double-majored in commercial design and photography.
